Default Back after a long break, need help

First, to everyone that takes the time to read this Thank You!

I have been away from GW for a few years now, last I checked the Guild I was in has moved on to other games, and are not on anymore. So first things first, I will be looking for a new one.

Second, I was just starting out with a Ranger in Prophecies; I had/have never really played a Ranger, so after such a long break, I am lost and confused.

Right now, He is a Lvl 13 R/E.

I would prefer to have a Beast/Solo setup, because most of the time I end up having to Hench.

I will sell, rearrange or whatever, just need a place to start and a direction to work toward.

Any help on a build, and a skill set would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Tim

GW is not a solo game unless farming certain areas with certain builds, for general play you mostly need the full party. Second Beast Mastery is pitifully weak I would suggest looking at builds here: Clicky

Ok, well he is right I guess. Gw's is not ment to be a solo game. However, all general pve(the storyline(ie: missions quests) can be soloed with h/h(heroes/henchies). Most of the time people play like that. Unless they are with guildies/friends. You usually won't be able to find a full group for a mission(as in 8 real people) for a random mission. People will bring heores or henchies for pretty much everything. Due to the player base being spread over 4 different games and the fact that most people feel heroes>pugs.

Beastmaster is garbage. Run like splinter barrage. It is a super basic build that does decent amount of damage. Not saying it is bestest range build ever but it is meh. I would suggest(if you are serious about getting back into the game) getting the rest of the campaigns if you don't already have them. Alot of good skills come from nightfall and gwen. You will get heroes and alot of pve skills that just make them game that much easier.

I have all the campaigns, I have not finished any of them, and I am going to fix that.
I can drop beastie, but I kinda just liked it.

I will look around, and see what I can do...I really want to thank you for your input.
